The school also has two computer labs and six classrooms with a computer and a mounted LCD Projector on the ceiling. There was some special funding for schools nearly a decade ago that allowed them to purchase this equipment. Five of the six still work. I have used them in teaching English to the teachers in the late afternoon. I get a sense that they are rarely used.
The schools industrial technology shop didn’t look too much different than ones I have seen in Oregon. There were fewer tools and the welders were very old. The students were building these metal framed rope woven chairs. I got a chance to work on one as well.
