Yesterday Jake learned to weld during the shop class at the school. The other students and the teacher were eager to help him.The teacher gave me a new shop shirt like the one he has.
The Welding teacher told Jake that he learns much faster than many of his other students. Maybe Jake takes after his grandpa Ron with his welding skills. Anyway, Jake is looking forward to learning more here and getting some practice with Grandpa Ron.

Tammy, That is wonderful that Jake gets to learn this. Harrison is learning as well. I took a photo of him and he was adamant that I wear a face shield while photographing him. He would not allow me to look at that blue flame while taking the picture. I must say, it was difficult, but I managed to get three good photos while wearing it. Kathi, it good to hear from you on my blog. I know life is busy for you. Here in Mexico, although household chores take more time, I seem to have a lot more time on my hands. I am not running here and there to my kids' 4H meetings. I am enjoying the slower pace of life.
I will miss your blog, even though I joined only a couple months ago.
